At any rate , on this the first of Advent , it is time once again for our annual Keep Mass in Christmas Campaign Are you seriously angry that people don't reference your holiday while making embarrassing public displays of greed Do you live in an alternate universe Are you some kind of robot If you answered yes , or no , to any of the questions above , you need to join The Sci Fi Catholic s Keep Mass in Christmas Campaign where we prefer to tell Christians to remember the proper way to celebrate Christmas , rather than telling everybody else , for whom celebrating Christmas wouldn't make much sense . anyway Cracking a joke at an opponent's expense , for example , can demolish that person's argument if the joke succeeds in diverting attention away from the issue and causing the opponent to appear silly . • Stargate Universe Season 1 Episode 10 – Justice – a mid-season cliffhanger

    Updated: 2009-11-28 03:31:58
No new Stargate Universe this week, but next week will be the last episode for a few months… Yeah we hate mid-season finales too. The basic story behind the mid-season finale is another character story – this time we’ve got a murder on the destiny. Everyone is shocked when a member of the crew is found dead from [...]

  • Flash Gordon scifi toys get real cheap for Black Friday

    Updated: 2009-11-27 01:31:20
Yeaaah SciFi frakked us all over with their Flash Gordon reboot, but the that doesn’t mean there aren’t any Flash Gordon fans out there? Or are there? Apparently there is a glut of Flash Gordon toys, so this if you’re interested you can now get your very own Alex Ross Flash Gordon for only $5 [...]

  • Star Trek 2009 – only $9 on Black Friday

    Updated: 2009-11-27 01:09:15
Sure it’s been out for a two week on DVD now but Black Friday pricing for Star Trek 2009 is really out of this world. Over at Amazon -Star Trek (Single-Disc Edition) – is only $9 which is half price for a brand new copy. We haven’t yet seen $9 copies anywhere else, though we’d expect [...]

  • Universal Solider: Regeneration Van Damme RETURNS!!

    Updated: 2009-11-26 04:51:06
He’s baaaaack! Sure the first Universal Solider was trite scifi pulp, but it was still kinda/sorta fun right? And hey enough people remember it, that apparently it’s good enough to have a sequel – albeit direct to DVD. And if one 90’s action hero washout isn’t enough, it also include Dolf Lundgren (remember him from Rocky IV?) [...]

  • V – Aliens have poisoned the Flu vaccine with R6 virus – and how about that bliss?

    Updated: 2009-11-25 03:46:39
The Flu vaccine is all part of an Alien/Lizard/V/Visitor conspiracy. I knew there was a good reason why we didn’t get the H1N1 vaccine. BUT THE WHAT THE FRAK? Does ABC have no ethics? Plant a story about the flu vaccine being a route for alien control? rly? Aren’t people scared enough about the Flu vaccine [...]

  • Big Bang Theory – Katee ‘Starbuck’ Sackhoff get into the bathtub with Howard

    Updated: 2009-11-24 05:41:28
So Katee Sackhoff aka Battlestar Galactica’s Starbuck made a a guest appearance on The Big Bang Theory - It was easily the best cameo yet for the show which has had Summer Glau and Wil Wheaton so far. No Katee isn’t naked, but she is in the tub with Howard (isn’t that every male geek’s fantasy??) Some of [...]

  • Stargate Universe : It’s been the worst day since yesterday – and more Lesbians

    Updated: 2009-11-22 03:20:45
Stargate Universe Episode 9 – titled -Life – wasn’t as good as the last episode but it was still kinda neat. The background song -It’s been the worst day since yesterday – was so cool at the beginning and at the end it just fit so well. We know Col Young’s wife was with Telfrod, and [...]

  • Fringe : An Observer in Love? RlY?

    Updated: 2009-11-21 02:20:26
The observers are the whole key to the pattern, they’re everywhere in time but last night’s episode  -..August – well …now we know there are many Observers – which is kinda neat. But the whole think with the one observer watching the girl from when she was small and then being in ‘love’ with her? COME [...]

  • FlashForward – Bryce goes to Tokyo, Keiko comes to L.A

    Updated: 2009-11-20 02:11:30
FlashForward really sucked tonight. Mostly it sucked because it was just a character set-up episode. Bryce chases his vision all the way to Tokyo and finds nothing while Keiko does the same but only in reverse. Sure that was interesting but it didn’t have to be the whole frakking episode. Let’s hope the next episode (in two [...]

  • R2D2 Was in Star Trek 2009 !!

    Updated: 2009-11-17 01:59:22
Unbelievable! io9 has what it claims to be a confirmation from George Lucas’ ILM and a frame from the blu-ray version of Star Trek 2009 In real-time play, it’s not even a second long, but it’s clear that everyone’s favorite astromech was on Nero’s ship when the NCC-1701 blasted her to oblivion. Here’s the thumbnail from io9: Posted in [...]

  • Stargate Universe – Time – For a moment there, I thought we were in trouble.. BEST EPISODE YET OF SGU!!

    Updated: 2009-11-15 04:24:07
We’ve had our doubts about SGU over the first 7 episodes, and to borrow a line from this episode, ..for a few moments there I thought we were in trouble. Episode 8, titled Time blew us away. Easily the best episode yet and one of the best Stargate episodes of any stargate series yet. We’ve got [...]

  • Fringe – The Tyler mind control experiment

    Updated: 2009-11-14 02:17:32
Until the very end of this episode i had no idea that Massive Dynamic was the real bad guy…though i suppose it really shouldn’t be a surprise. Massive Dynamic is the bad guy for the show PERIOD. Interesting idea though on the multiple tyler clones though… And it was neat that Walter finally visited Massive Dynamic too. Posted in [...]

  • FlashForward – Who is Jericho? What’s up with the rings?

    Updated: 2009-11-13 02:06:33
Our choices matter now more than ever… Ok after last week’s big episode Tracy is back and we find out that she was chased by Jericho – sorta like blackwater i guess. But how did she get out of Afghanistan? And Who is Jericho? and how are they related to the black outs? And what’s up with the rings? [...]

The first trailer for the remake of the 1981 cult classic Clash of the Titans is now available …and it sure seems to borrow alot of its tone from 300. Yeaah Medussa is in there and oh yeah the Cracken too I don’t see Pegasus, but Perseus, Zeus and Cassiopeia are all present and rocking out to [...]

  • Dollhouse Cancelled. FOX Fraks SciFi Fans AGAIN.

    Updated: 2009-11-12 00:51:02
It’s official. FOX is cancelling Dollhouse. Is anyone surprised? This is FOX after all, they canceled Firefly and from the very first episode (which was awesome), we knew the FRAKKERS at FOX had their fingers on the button to kill this show. It’s bad enough the show is on hiatus for the whole month of November too, but [...]

  • V – Will Erica Lead the Resistance?

    Updated: 2009-11-11 02:30:05
The second episode of ABC’s V was another really great episode. The key character is really shaping up to be FBI Agent Erica Evans played by actress Elizabeth Mitchell. She’s strong, tough and saavy. And how about that shower scene? No nudity. And that’s a good thing. It means she’s serious and the shows producers are not [...]

  • Stargate Universe – Episode 7 Earth – Eli is Phillip ‘Futurama’ Fry – and Is Col. Telford screwing Col. Young’s Ex-Wife?

    Updated: 2009-11-09 03:35:57
That was one strange episode – in that it was all about personal relationships. SGU episode 7 Earth gave us more insight into Destiny’s crew and their history on Earth. Col Young getting back together with his ex – while inside of Telford’s body was kinda freaky – especially when the communication between the stones was [...]

  • Fringe – the Cosmonaut and the sandman

    Updated: 2009-11-06 06:16:35
Great to have Fringe back, and another fine episode. So now we know the CIA and Russians have a play in the pattern too. Somehow the cosmonaut that Broils shot is still alive and now in space somewhere with the ’shadow’ with him – a really neat idea overall. Is the Shadow related to the watcher? We’ll [...]

alreadyghosts.com  the blue hand WOW what a fantastic episode. The future is not written and now we know for sure. The death of agent Gough – jumping off the building to change the future and save a mom of two boys was just so startling, we’re still in shock. We’re still a few months away until the Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica – the series gets going on SyFy (Jan 22). But that’s not stopping SyFy from promoting the show. They don’t quite look like regular klingons to us, but hey close enough. We’ve included the clip below which aired on the Scream [...]

  • Stargate Universe Episode 6 Water – What was that alien sand man?

    Updated: 2009-11-01 03:28:21
Another decent, but not great episode. Water follows other monosyllabic episode names like light and darkness..and wonder what’s next. The Destiny loses half of its water and the command staff is checking the crew to see who has taken ..what?? That was dumb. What did Lt. Scott see on ice world (Hoth as Eli called [...]

  • Flashforward – Who is Suspect zero? How about Simon?

    Updated: 2009-10-30 01:22:25
Interesting episode – Lloyd Simcoe finally realizes who Olivia is and the benford’s start to fall apart. Real big inclusion is the Simon character and our bet is that he’s suspect zero – the guy in the stadium. We also think that we was talking to Lloyd – suspect 1 during the blackout.   Clearly Lloyd is part of [...]

  • Dollhouse Belonging – Directed by Riker (aka Jonathan Frakes) – The Best Episode Yet

    Updated: 2009-10-25 01:36:13
What a great episode – Belonging – directed by Star Trek’s Riker (Johnathan Frakes) showed us how Sierra got into the dollhouse No that party was freaky and disturbing. When they returned her to the creep, I though ok this is a sad sack ending. But then having Prija/Sierra kick the dudes butt? That was great. How/why [...]

  • Fox cancels Dollhouse from November schedule

    Updated: 2009-10-23 00:58:40
No it’s not a full cancellation of Dollhouse – but FOX is still messing things up. Season Two has barely started and now FOX has pulled the show out of the November line-up . Technically it’s not a cancellation, it’s worse. FOX is putting Echo and the rest of the Dollhouse… IN THE ATTIC. Joss Whedon however is [...]

Katee ‘Starbuck is a Frakkin Angel’ Sackhofff is coming to the Big Bang Theory. The word is that she connects with Wolowitz. No word yet if there will be  BIG BANG ..yeaah a weak pun. • Stargate Universe Lt. Vanessa James and her all natural assets

    Updated: 2009-10-21 00:49:48
So far Stargate Universe has been a BUST literally. The show has been mostly lame, but the ‘bust’ quotient was really high this week in the Darkness episode. The biggest culprit was one Lt. Vanessa James who was front and center with her…ahem..assets. The actress that plays Lt. James - Julia Benson is now on the defense – and [...]

  • Will Wheaton on Big Bang Theory – A Star Trek Wrath of Kahn FEAST

    Updated: 2009-10-20 03:19:11
Wil Weaton aka. Wesley Crusher of Star Trek The Next Generation, made a guest appearance on The Big Bang Theory tonight. It was hilarious WHEAAAAAAATTTOOOOONNN!!! Turns out Sheldon had a vendetta with Wheaton because Wheaton didn’t show up to a Trek Convention in 1995. So Wheaton end up at a card tournament at the comic book store, and [...]

  • Stargate Universe Episode 3 – Air – ok let go find some sand..

    Updated: 2009-10-18 04:41:35
Every Stargate series has an episode (or 10) like this one. The ‘team’ needs something and finds it at the last possible second. ok it’s not a new idea. We learn a little more about the characters, but to be honest, we don’t really care about them (yet). They just don’t seem real. Eli is the early big [...]

  • FlashForward – Who is Simon?

    Updated: 2009-10-16 04:32:01
Ok this episode was a little slower than the other, but still very entertaining. We now know for sure that Olivia’s flashforward lover is involved in why the flashforward occured in teh first place. And we learn that the babysitter was being drowned – ok that’s neat. But what happened to the crows? There certainly is continuity in [...]

Though he was at first inclined to take advantage of the situation and remain in bed , his curiosity was aroused , and so he arose , dressed , and found the chamberlain . When he did so , he asked , Why has the queen not sent for me The chamberlain replied , Monsieur , Her Highness find this morning that she has quite lost her voice , so she simply cannot see you . Those unknowns really make this season VERY annoying to us. That said, last Friday’s episode Instinct opened up some new ground.  Topher has now figured [...]
